  4. Rules, Rules, Rules • Allowable Costs • Program costs are divided into two categories: • Operating • Administrative • When in doubt, contact Jennifer before you make the purchase • Claim actual costs each month

  5. Rules, Rules, Rules • Operating costs Must be documented! These are costs involved in acquiring, delivering, preparing, and serving FFVP.

  6. Rules, Rules, Rules • Administrative Costs Must be documented! Costs involved in planning the program, managing paperwork, purchasing equipment and all other costs NOT related to the preparation and service of FFVP.

  7. Rules, Rules, Rules • Administrative costs are limited to 10% of the FFVP Grant award. • Administrative costs may be used to supplement operational costs, if you run out. However, you can NOT use operational costs to supplement administrative costs.

  13. Program Monitoring • Important to collect data to support the FFVP • On-site visit • Visit will be announced • Snack observation • Verify a reimbursed claim • Provide technical assistance • Your program will be visited this year if: • SD is scheduled for a CRE
