  2. COMMUNICATION Communication is simply the act of transferring information from one place, person or group to another.

  3. TYPES OF COMMUNICATION

  4. VERBAL COMMUNICATION The Verbal Communication is a type of oral communication wherein the message is transmitted through the spoken words. Here the sender gives words to his feelings , thoughts , ideas and opinions and expresses them in the form of speeches , discussions , presentations and conversations.

  5. WRITTEN COMMUNICATION A 'Written Communication' means the sending of messages , orders or instructions in writing through letters , circulars , manuals , reports , telegrams , office memos , bulletins , etc. It is a formal method of communication and is less flexible.

  6. ORAL COMMUNICATION Oral communication is the exchange of information and ideas through spoken word. It can be directly in person in a face-to-face interaction or through an electronic device such as a phone or radio.

  7. NON – VERBAL COMMUNICATION Nonverbal communication is the transmission of messages or signals through a nonverbal platform such as eye contact, gestures , body language , facial expressions and postures. It includes the use of social cues, kinesics , distance and physical environment. It can also include the use of timeand eye contact and the actions of looking while talking and listening, frequency of glances, patterns of fixation, pupil dilation, and blink rate.

  8. VISUAL COMMUNICATION Visual communication is the practice of graphically representing information to efficiently, effectively create meaning. There are many types of content in the realm of visual communication, with examples including infographics, interactive content, motion graphics, and more.
