Students will develop an understanding of the measurement of time. A. Tell time to the nearest hour and half hour and understand the movement of the minute hand and how it relates to the hour hand. C. Compare and.or order the sequence or duration of events (e.g. shorter/longer and before/after).

  3. Jimmy wakes up at 6:30 a.m.

  4. One half hour (30 minutes) past 6:30 a.m., Jimmy eats breakfast with his mom and dad. What time is it? A. 7:30 a.m. B. 7:00 a.m. C. 8:00 a.m.

  5. The school day begins at 8:00 a.m.

  6. Students share their inventions with their classmates from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. How long does this take?A. One half hour (30 minutes) B. One hour (60 minutes)
