  1. Arris Router Settings For Gaming If you wish to add quality to your gaming experience, setting up the network used for gaming is essential. To configure your Arris router for the best gaming experience, follow the below-mentioned steps to set up Arris router settings for gaming. Method 1: Enable QoS First, connect your Arris router to a computer using a standard Ethernet cable. On the computer, open the default browser and enter the router's IP address in the URL field to access the login portal. Enter the login credentials and click the Login button to access the router's settings page. Click the Wireless tab available at the top of the page and select the Quality of Service (QoS) submenu. On the Wireless- WMM Quality of Service screen, turn on the WMM Support and Power Save Support services. Turn off the No-Acknowledgement service and click the Apply button. If necessary, specify the transit parameters for the CWmin and CWmax, Arbitration Inter Frame Spacing Number (AIFSN), and Transmit Opportunity Limit (TXOP Limit) to prioritize gaming data over other downloading data.

Method 2: Change Wi-Fi Channel Log in to the router's administrative interface on your computer’s browser. Click the Wireless tab available at the top of the screen. Select the 802.11 Radio option from the drop-down menu. Select the desired channel number from the Channel pull-down menu. It is suggested to select the non-overlapping channels among the 11 channels (for 2.45GHz). If your router supports 5GHz bandwidth, select it first. Choose a non-overlapping channel from the list of 23 channels. Once you have changed the Wi-Fi channels, click the Apply button to save the changes to set up Arris router settings for gaming.
