Already the person engaged in job hunting is under stress and full of tensions, and worrying about their profile being visible to recruiters or not is an add-on to their tensions. However, you can be free from this tension by making your profile available for recruiters, so they will get to know that you are open to work or are available for a changed role. Well, there are various job portals where you can update your profile or set your status as available for more work. Today, one of the majorly used job portals with a huge network is LinkedIn, if you want to be seen globally then you can create a profile on LinkedIn and update your status accordingly. It will also help the recruiters to know that you are ready to work and they will view your profile to check if you meet their basic requirements for that specific role. Making your profile visible on LinkedIn is very simple and requires a few steps to set up. In this article, we will be focusing on how you can make your LinkedIn profile effective and visible to prominent recruiters. Self-analysis of your LinkedIn profile If you complete your profile on LinkedIn, it increases your chance to be visible. Make sure you use the correct keywords for your current role so that your name will be displayed if there is a search applied for that particular role. You can even search online for a suitable title that will create an impact on the recruiters. Try to update the summary to be short, concise, and to the point that will highlight your achievement and tell the recruiters about your role. So make sure you work on your headline and make the most out of the 220 characters for promoting your personal brand. Use keywords that are used by the recruiters for searching for the right candidate. Update profile picture. Well, some people think it is not necessary to update a profile picture, but somehow it has an impact on the recruiters and increases your chances to be viewed. Make sure you have an updated photo.
