    7. 7 Garrison - We try to replicate the garrison environment as close to camp as possible. Cadets are broken down into platoons that are the same size as platoons at camp. Cadets are evaluated in squad leader, platoon leader, platoon sergeant, company commander, company executive officer, and first sergeant. Cadets are issued a garrison opord and expected to issue opord to subordinates. LRC - Course is not a FLRC like at camp, but has many of the same obstacles. Cadets are evaluated by MS IV cadets. STX - Cadets are evaluated in their SL and TL positions. Squads work off of the same time line as camp and complete some of the same missions. 12. 12 STX = Two Leadership Evaluations per Cadet (SL or TL) (MSIII only) Land Nav Written = 20 Questions Day Land Nav = 8 Points in 5 HoursNight Land Nav = 5 Points in 3 Hours (no chem) APFT = Army Standard LRC = One Leadership Evaluation per Cadet (MSIII only) Take Home Packets will Include: All Score Cards, the Schools Average per Event, and the Viking Pelham Average per Event Schools will have access to their scores only Only approximately 50% of the MS III’s attending will receive a Garrison Evaluation. This is due to the limited number of days for the JFTX. EACH MS III cadet will receive an evaluation for the LRC course. On the STX site we are constrained by the limited number of daylight hours. This only allows for 6 rotations per squad. At a minimum each cadet will receive a Team Leader evaluation, 50%-60% should receive a squad leader evaluation as well. The written Land Nav test is a mirror image of the 20 question multiple choice test they will see at camp. Day and night practical exercises are limited by time and therefore the day portion has been reduced from 8 points to 5. APFT is IAW the Army standard and is keeping with COL Cray’s guidance of each university receiving an APFT graded by cadre from a different university. The take-home packets will allow each school to counsel cadet in detail about their performance once back at home station. 14. 14 Blue Cards are turned in and reviewed the same way as Advanced Camp. The evaluator turns blue card (along with yellow card in garrison) into next line supervisor (either CTO or committee chief). The CTO or committee chief reviews card and corrects as necessary. The card is then turned in to the TOC who completes a final review of card. The TOC then records the card and files it in the universities take home packet. Cadets may appeal any blue card they feel is not correct. Committee Chiefs are the final appeal authority for each committee.
