6. 6 DCO/DCE METL(3 of 3) Conduct Domestic Support Ops (8.4.1) Condition: DCE responds to an event (natural / man-made disasters, NSSEs) as directed or ISO the primary federal agency to conduct DSCA/HLD operations in austere conditions due to lack of infrastructure wherein DCE will have to self support during initial entry and may require external support for an extended period of time. Possible CBRNE environments exists. Foreign and Domestic Terrorists could be present. Standards: Yes/No: Receive, gather and disseminate critical information concerning the event to the Commander, DoD Installations, USARNORTH, FEMA, and other State / Federal agencies as applicable. Yes/No: Plan for and assume operational control of incoming units / resources. Ensure units / resources are provided adequate life support arrangements and are aware of planned and potential disaster relief missions.
