  2. SAT is the test that is used for college admission in the United States. It is an important test as it largely determines where one will go for college as it is the most accepted test. Various tutoring options are available to prepare for SAT along with 1 on 1 SAT tutor to help one ace the test.

  3. The SAT exam consists of two sections – one where writing skills are tested and the other with Math. A student must appear for both sections equally to pass the test with flying colours

  4. Here are a few tips that you can use to succeed in SAT 1. One should go for mock tests to determine one’s skills and level of preparation. This will help you in planning your studies accordingly to prepare for the test.

  5. 2. Make sure you had studied well by practicing out of the box questions and analyzed the previous year questions. This will help you to familiarize yourself with the pattern of questions.

  6. 3. Practice a lot before sitting for the final exam as this will help you to understand the test better and prepare you to face it better. If you had practised well the exam will feel like any other practice session of yours.

  7. 4. Apart from going through the websites also make sure that you have read the standard textbooks available. This will help you in gaining a deeper understanding of the subject matter and help you in preparing better for the examination.

  8. 5. You may get help from tutors to help you understand better if you have problems preparing on your own. Tutors can make the process of preparation much easier as they have experience in the field and already know what topics need to be read first and are the most important ones.

  9. 6. Make sure you have read the formulae right as this will help you in solving many of the problems. Remembering the formulae will also help you in solving the math problems faster and thus help you in completing the paper on time.

  10. 7. Read the suggested books as it will help you in increasing your vocabulary and make your answers better. The books should be read in such a manner that you understand what is to be conveyed and know how you can frame your answer.

  11. 8. Knowing mental math is important for SAT as you will be expected to do a lot of calculation and knowing mental math will help you do the same quickly.

  12. 9. Grammar should be prepared well as most of the questions will be based on your grammar skills and if you have a good knowledge of grammar you will be able to do good.

  13. Preparing for the SAT requires planning and rigorous practice. One needs to work continuously and make sure that the preparation is in the right direction. Thus, the SAT preparation must be taken seriously to assure that you can pass the test.
