SKPS Grey Primer Indicus SKPS Grey Primer is a high-performance zinc phosphate-based primer formulated to provide effective corrosion resistance for ferrous surfaces in mildly to moderately corrosive environments. This protective coating ensures superior adhesion and long-lasting durability, creating a strong foundation for topcoats. Ideal for steel and iron surfaces, SKPS Grey Primer offers excellent protection against rust and wear, making it perfect for various industrial and structural applications where extended surface protection is essential.

SKPS Grey Primer Areas of application ● on ferrous metal works ● in both interior and exterior areas Features ● Good adhesion to substrate ● Suitable for correctly prepared new or lightly rusted iron and mild steel ● Non-drip, easy brushing with good flow and levelling properties Application procedure ● Ensure the surface is free from dirt, dust, moisture, adhesion inhibiting compounds like grease, wax, etc. and any loose particles. ● Blast the surface or sand with emery paper and wipe clean. ● Apply one coat of primer and allow it to dry for 6 to 8 hours before second coat. If needed, use solvent-based putty to fill cracks and dents to make the surface uniform. ● ● After sanding the puttied surface, apply another coat of primer and allow it to dry overnight. ● Before application of topcoat, lightly sand the surface with emery paper and wipe clean.

  3. SKPS Grey Primer Precautions ● This product is flammable. Avoid extreme temperature. ● Use only in well ventilated areas. Vapours may cause drowsiness and dizziness. ● In case of contact with eyes or skin, wash with water and seek medical advice. ● Keep out of reach of children and away from any combustible materials, food, drinks, etc.
