  • Privileged – EMERGENCY - do not relate to motions

  • Not debatable

  • Must be disposed of immediately

  • Pertain to convenience/comfort

    • Adjourn, Recess, Question of privilege, Call for orders of the day

  • Applied to a motion

  • Must be acted upon before main motion

    • Lay on the table, Previous question, Limit debate, Postpone definitely, Postpone indefinitely, Refer to committee, Amend,

  • Must be decided before you go on
