  1. CORPORATE EVENTS PLANNING Topic: Choosing a destination for your staff incentive program Staff incentive programs contribute to positive team cultures! If you are planning an incentive program for 2017, a destination can be an ideal reward. Here are five questions to help narrow down your choices. #1: What is your budget? This will help determine factors such as length of stay, style of accommodation, activity budget and quality of catering. #2: How long will you be there? Some determining factors are the operational impact on your business and your staff’s personal commitments outside of work. #3: What is the profile of your staff? Their age, gender, interests and abilities may help decide whether you choose a pamper trip or perhaps a weekend of adrenaline activities. #4: What is your objective? Whether it’s to rejuvenate, reward or perhaps mark the start of something, this can help determine some of the inclusions and activities. #5: What type of destination do you envisage? All of your answers to the above will contribute to the type of destination, whether it is coastal, forest, ski, island, country or metropolitan. #1: Use an experiential venue Consider what interests your delegates and what the purpose of the corporate event is. It’s time to think ‘outside the box’ for experience rather than for luxury. #2: Create balance in the agenda There should be an appropriate mix of activity and education to keep your delegates enthused and engaged. Consider a fun yet purposeful team building activity. #3: Be smart with your gifts CONTACT US We plan and deliver corporate events & travel incentive programs across Australia & New Zealand
