  1. Virtual Simulation Courses for students Year 2020 was memorable for quite a number of reasons. One of them was the quick adoption of the online/virtual learning by the schools. Till then, the schools were only tuned to the traditional way of learning – the teacher and his/her teaching aids, the blackboard and a chalk piece. When the pandemic struck from nowhere, the schools, especially the teachers had to face a tricky situation. They had to adapt to the Online mode, using the technology platforms like Google Meet, Zoom etc. “Every transition / change comes with its own challenges”. True. Inspite of serious challenges, the schools and the teachers successfully adapted to the “New Age Learning”. Now, slowly, everyone seems to have tasted the success of such virtual learning and wish to have a blended learning, i.e. conventional teaching along with the virtual learning. We, at Centrado, also had to quickly find interesting ways to help children continue their tinkering way of learning. For this, we developed courses on virtual tinkering where children could tinker with the virtual components and still get a good, or rather, a better experience

  2. than real tinkering. Yes, it was a revelation to us when the children found our virtual learning courses to be immersive, thus satisfying the objective for which these courses were designed. What is Simulation based learning? Simulation is a technique for practice and learning by creating the exact real life experiences in a virtual environment. This type of learning is always immersive in nature as it opens up our inquisitive minds to innovations & improvisations of the existing ones, if any. Here are some of the benefits of Simulation based learning: (i) Opens Up the minds: Learning is designed to extend educational experiences. It throws open a lot of ideas to the students so that they can turn even the craziest ideas into interesting realities. (ii)In virtual learning environments, students access resources and interact in ways they would not or could not in the physical classroom. In order to bring out the most innovative ideas out of the creative minds, it is important that we create a suitable environment and allow hassle-free, seamless thought process. Our virtual tinkering courses have been designed in such a way so as to allow the blossoming of creative minds. Our LMS platform shall enable the students to have a real fun learning experience in addition to understanding the concepts in the fullest possible way.
