  1. 4 Tips to Create a Masterpiece with Farbsprays In recent years, farbsprays have seen some exciting changes. They have uncovered an extensive use in street art scenes, graffiti, and even in traditional paintings. They have also been utilized to paint furniture's, or some household products by artists. Spray colors are positively a must-have for any artists art repertoire. Several professionals prefer spay color due to its comfortable and expeditious manner of paint transference on canvas. Although farbsprays are popular with the artists, there are some significant signs of poor spray paint usage, which are easy to spot. Paint build-up corners, uneven coverage, stray hair in the finish and much more are some common issues recognized in spray paintings. Here are some tips to make sure you don’t mess up with your first spray painting:  Prepare the Surface/object No doubt, that spray painting is a quick process. But it requires an essential initial preparation over the object or surface to be painted. This initial step is of cleaning the object/surface to be painted. Depending upon the surface of the object, you can use any of the following operations: -Clean with Trisodium Phosphate (TSP) TSP is a degreaser, used for dissolving oil and grease. It is considered to be one of the best pre-painting cleaners as greases are kryptonite to farbsprays or any paint. Moreover, if you are to paint something that has already been painted then TSP assists in breaking gloss of oil- based paint and helps the new paint to adhere to the surface. -Wipe with a cloth The conventional and the most effective method of cleaning any item is a cloth. Tack cloths are often utilized by some artists to remove the dust present over the surface. -Dry it Completely Before beginning the paint process, if you have applied any chemical on the objects to be painted then make sure you wash them away. You can even use a damp sponge for this purpose. After rinsing it, make sure that the surface/object has completely dried, as water repels paint.  Shake it properly Most of the color spray cans have instructions on the back which asks the user to shake them for 1 minute before using it. And why do they ask for this? It’s because spray colors contain propellants which can settle at the bottom of the paint can/bottle. It is, therefore, necessary to shake it and make sure that the propellants mix in together well. If the propellants are not combined accurately, then they would come out from the cans in an uneven proportion. This would cause unevenness of color on the canvas and would also result in a clumpy painting.  Temperature and Sunlight are critical Spray paintings are mostly dependent on factors related to chemistry. It is vital to make sure that the temperature and sunlight while painting is optimum. Temperature between 18 degree Celsius to 24 degree Celsius with no humidity is considered to be the best temperature range for spray painting as it’s not too hot nor too cold and therefore renders perfect conditions for the paint to fit on canvas. While painting with spray paints, keeping your canvas away from direct sunlight is a quintessential aspect. It is because exposure of direct sunlight can cause the solvents to evaporate even before the paint hits the canvas surface and this can result in small clumps all over the painting.  Go for Multiple Coats Creating a masterpiece of painting requires the patience of the user. We all are aware of the fact that spray colors consist of solvents that evaporates quickly and this characteristics of spray paints enable them to stick to the surface of the canvas. Applying 3 light coats to everything while spray painting can deliver a perfect finish to the painting. If the artists apply one thick coat, then the solvent may not get sufficient time to evaporate which may cause dripping of color from the canvas. Moreover, it may even develop cracks as soon as it dries. Therefore, it’s better to put light coats of farbsprays and get the painting with no cracks or drips.
