  1. Microdissection Testicular Sperm Extraction (Micro-TESE) Microdissection Testicular Sperm Extraction (Micro-TESE) is a surgical procedure used to retrieve sperm from the testicles in men with severe male infertility, particularly those with non-obstructive azoospermia, where no sperm is present in the ejaculate. This advanced technique involves using a microscope to identify and extract sperm directly from the testicular tissue with minimal damage to the surrounding structures. Australian Concept Karachi IVF in Pakistan can be a successful procedure with the help of well-regarded clinics. Make sure you know what’s included in your treatment package. During the procedure, a small incision is made in the scrotum, and testicular tissue is carefully examined for sperm-producing seminiferous tubules. Micro-TESE has a higher success rate for sperm retrieval compared to traditional testicular sperm extraction methods, as it allows for the selection of the most viable tissue areas. The extracted sperm can then be used for In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) or Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), providing options for couples facing infertility. Micro-TESE is typically performed under local or general anesthesia and is considered a minimally invasive approach to sperm retrieval. This procedure offers hope for men who have previously been told they cannot father biological children.
