  2. What was the research requirement? This study was focused on payment cards usage and adoption criteria as the role of the credit / debit cards nowadays is very significant. Our client was keen on studying credit / debit card owners / users in emerging markets like Mexico, Brazil and Russia. Additionally, there was an augment segment of 100 completes required to be achieved for the client’s brand.

  3. What were the challenges? • The incidence rate for the client’s brand was low and an appropriate strategy had to be devised to avoid panel burn-out. • Additionally, we had to ensure a fair representation of age, gender, region as well as the type of payment card

  4. How did Borderless Access solve the problem? We targeted the audience with the specifications given by our client i.e., age, gender and cities. An aggressive sampling plan was in place to meet quotas especially for respondents from the older age group as well as certain cities. In order to achieve the required number of completes for the augment quota, we had to conduct a quick profiling exercise amongst our panel as well as targeted respondents with above average income range. This is because we had an understanding that the client’s brand caters to a niche segment.
