BroadbandConnection 68% of respondents have a combined Internet, Phone Plan 49% of Internet connections have only 1-2 people using the service. 43% 3+ users 8% 5+ users 49% are happy with their Service Provider 84% would change providers if a better service/plan available 40% enquired if broadband was available when they purchase/rented their property 67% indicated that if enquiries were made today it would influence there decision to take the property

Business Connection 42% of respondents indicated that their connection was sufficient for their needs 36% indicated the Broadband had a large impact on their business 58% indicated that Broadband had improved their business practises The most Common business applications included: E-commerce (19%) Research & Development (17%) Advertising (15%) Phone Services (10%) Client Relationship Management (11%) Account (8%) Human resources, Stock Control, Web Conferencing (6% each)

Government Policy 64% of respondents were not aware of the Australian Government Broadband Guarantee 64% of respondents were aware of the Australian Government National Broadband Network initiative 98% of respondents agreed that Developers should be required to provide broadband infrastructure in all new developments
