  4. Page number • Next to each article • In chronological order • Slightly bigger than the text • Different colour

  5. Masthead • Features at the top

  6. Main Image • The main feature of the article

  7. Categories • Categories- ‘Features’, block of different colour behind the text to make it stand out

  8. Captions on images • Explains the image

  9. Subsidiary images • About other articles

  10. Article titles/Headlines • Sublines • Font size usually 12-13pt and in capitals or bold • Few lines of text that reveal what the article is about • Font size usually 11pt

  11. Colour scheme connotes the genre and is usually the same colours as the front cover • Column structure- 2-3 columns used with line gaps between sections • Magazine contact details and subscription information • Editors letter and credits for front pictures • Typography- font is reasonable design and size and signifies the genre • Graphics- blocks of colour/shapes
