Odisha Teachers Eligibility Test (OTET)

The OTET stands for Odisha Teachers Eligibility Test whose main purpose is to recruit skilled teachers for teaching from class 1st to the class 8th in the state of Odisha. This exam is conducted by Board of Secondary Education (BSE). The selected candidates will get a job in government, private unaided & private aided schools. This exam is only for those who want to become teacher. In OTET, there is a category wise application fees along with age limit. Candidates must have Indian citizenship & they should know to read & write in Odisha.

  2. Introduction • In addition, candidates will be selected under the marks secured in the examination. The selected candidates will also get a job in government,  Government Aided, Private unaided, and Private aided schools of Odisha. However, qualifying for the OTET exam is just an eligibility criterion for teacher recruitment. Likewise, only marks scored by the candidate will decide the selection process. Once the maximum mark you secure, you will have a high chance of getting shortlisted.  • Candidates with certain qualifications can attend the examination, which we will see in detail below. The Odisha Teaching Eligibility test will have two papers. • Firstly Category A (Paper I) • Then, Category B (Paper-II)

  3. Nationality • The aspirants should be a citizen of India, and also they should know to read and write Odia. So, any Indian citizen with the above-mentioned educational qualification who knows to read and write Odia can apply for the examination. • Qualification • The OTET candidates should have passed HSC Examination or any equivalent with Odia as a First, Second, or Third language subject. • Then, the OTET aspirant must have passed +2 Higher Secondary Examination or any equivalent with Odia as  First, Second, or Third subject. • Also, OTET Candidates should have passed the Odia Examination of Matriculation/HSC standard conducted by BSE, Odisha. • Age • Generally, candidates from 21 age to 32 can apply for the examination. Candidates who are below 21, likewise candidates who are above 32 are not eligible to attend the examination OTET Eligibility Criteria

  4. OTET Syllabus OTET Pattern Generally, the Exam Pattern for OTET will vary from one post to another post-examination. Generally, the exam pattern also gets release with the examination date. Likewise, The recruitment team has released the exam pattern for the position of Contractual Hindi, Sanskrit, and Physical Education Teachers.   5. OTET Admit Card • Generally, admit card will be posted for downloading one or two weeks before the examination. Since the examination date has yet to announce, admit card date will also get announced before or with the examination date. Likewise, candidates can download their admit cards by following the instructions below. Candidates should download their admit cards on or before the examination date so that they will be able to attend the examination. Because admit card will have the important details of the examination. So once the admit cards get released try to download them as soon as possible. • How to Download OTET Admit Card 2021? • First, visit the official website of BSE Odisha- bseodisha.ac.in • Then,  Click on the OTET 2021 Application link, so that you can direct to the log in button • After that click on the Login button • Likewise, Enter the following details, • First register number • Then password • Finally, you can view and download OTET 2021 admit card.

  6. OTET Result Generally, OTET can get their result one or two weeks after the examination. Once the examination gets finished candidates can check their results on the official website. Likewise, you need to get the qualified results in all the stages to get the job. So, concentrate on all the exams equally in order to qualify in the examination. Once the result dates are announced we will notify you. You can also check your results directly from the official website.

  8. How ToApply? Once the application form of OTET is released on the officail website, eligible candidates can start filling it on or before the due date. Likewise, as per the official notification candidates can start applying from august 23, 2021. So, OTET candidates should check from 23, august to apply for the examination. I have also given you the step by step instructions to apply for the examination Generally, the OTET application fee varies from one category to another so, candidates should know their application concerning their category.  For General candidates, the application fee is 600 Rs, likewise for SC/ST/PWD candidates application fee is 400 Rs. The payment should be made through online mode because no offline mode of application is acceptable. Candidates should pay the fee on or before the last date. Generally, vacancies for particular posts will be released with the exam application. This year also, they have released the new notification on August 2021 with the number of vacancies.  For Hindi teachers 2055, then, for Sanskrit teacher 1304, then for PET Teachers 1260. Q. What is the examination fee for the OTET Examination? Generally, the OTET application fee varies from one category to another so, candidates should know their application concerning their category.  For General candidates, the application fee is 600 Rs, likewise for SC/ST/PWD candidates application fee is 400 Rs.
