Age-related Macular Degeneration Condition Occurs Once the Cells Responsible for Making Proteins Which are Responsible For Vision Waste Goods are Damaged Macular Degeneration is also known as AMD or ARMD. This condition occurs once the cells responsible for making proteins which are responsible for vision waste goods are damaged. This helps it be difficult to process and see things clearly. As macular degeneration progresses, normal, clear vision (seen left), gradually becomes impaired by overall darkness experienced in the central percentage of the eye. With advancing macular degeneration, usually, a blind spot generally forms in the biggest market of the visual field (seen right). Around 1.5 million people in the U.K. have AMD. Age-related Macular Degeneration affects millions of people every year. It's more common in people who are overweight and who are older. Some research shows that there can be a genetic link to the problem. To date, there has been no proven treatment with this condition. Another condition that experts believe may result in causing macular degeneration and related vision impairments is dogaracts. Dogs can develop dry AMD and dogs may also develop wet AMD. Dry AMD usually doesn't cause pain to the dog and you can find medications available to treat it. Wet AMD, on another hand, can be painful and can cause blindness if treatment is not started early enough. Read More@ https://bit.ly/3flFK9Q
