CRITERIA • For every intelligence you can find a relatively autonomous brain system • For every intelligence there are people who have only developed one intelligence (idiot savants) • For every intelligence we know people who represent a culturally appreciated final stadium • Every intelligence has an own development pattern

  16. LINGUISTIC INTELLIGENCE • Thinks in words and formulates easily • Likes reading, talking, writing • Can easily express his thougts and ideas • Reads with understanding and understands what is written • Can discribe something well and is able to give good argumentation

Maths assignment • Een horsefarmer goes to the market with his money and buys a horse for Є6000,- • He sells him again for Є7000,- • He regrets what he did and buys him back for Є8000,- • The horse throws him down and the farmer decides to sell him again for Є9000,- • Does he break even, does he win or does he loose money? • How much does he win or loose?

LOGIC-MATHEMATICAL INTELLIGENCE • Is fascinated by numbers/figures en likes to play with them • Is able to organize information • Likes to solve complex mathematical problems • Thinks carefully and reconsiders his solutions over and over when solving problems • Reasons accurately, precisely and logically l • Thinks in a critical way

VISUAL-SPACIAL INTELLIGENCE • Perceives reality through images and colours • Has a good feeling of colour shades • Likes to draw figures or makes maakt thumb-nail sketches to remember things • Likes to experiment with designs and sketches • Thinks, writes and talks expressively and evocatively • Is able to orientate easely in buildings and neighbourhoods etc. • Likes to work with graphs and graphic organizers

FYSICAL-MOTORIAL INTELLIGENCE • Prefers to react with precise and well-aimed movements • Has a strong feeling for the right direction and timing in using is own body • Likes sports • Makes easily fysical contact with other people • Strong in precise movements • Learns easily by doing or playing

MUSICAL-RHYTHMICAL INTELLIGENCE • Has always sounds and rhythm around him • Hears and remembers easily melodies and likes to hum • Likes to play an instrument • Uses memory aid or rimes to memorize • Likes to work with music on • Has a strong feeling for rhythm, intonation and nuances in use of voice • Good narrator

NATURAL INTELLIGENCE • is fascinated by everyting what grows and moves in nature • Recognizes easily caraceristics of plants, animals and objects • Learns easily by perceptions outside, collecting and putting things in order • Likes to mix with animals and gets easily in contact with them • Observes nature and likes to make clear changes in nature

INTRA PERSONAL INTELLIGENCE • Does not like to be in the spotlight • Lives in a own world and likes daydreaming • Knows own strong and weak sides • Demands a lot from himself • Observes accurately what is happening • Writes a diary or poems • Can reflect easily, has a feeling for poetry and philosophy

  24. INTERPERSONAL INTELLIGENCE • Likes to be in contact with others • Likes cooperative learning • Is empathic and talks easily about feelings • Likes to be in groups • Likes party’s and sociability • Likes to be helpful
