Statewide SIS Objectives • Implement a new State data management system by August 2008. • Establish a means of electronically reporting school, staff and student data from School Units to the DOE. • Establish a means for the Maine DOE to report required State and Federal data. • Reduce the number of reports that are submitted to the DOE by School Units. • Provide centrally hosted student information system functionality for optional use by local School Units.
