  7. OU Courses • Courses can be 10, 15, 30 or 60 points • 30 point courses expect about 7-8 hours per week to study (Full time degree students gain 120 points per year) • Typical students study 60 points a year when combined with work or family or circumstances.

  8. Degree Structure • BSc needs 300 points • BSc (Hons) needs 360 points • MEng needs 420 points • MSc has a similar structure • All Honours Degrees are classified as 1st, 2nd or 3rd Class
