  1. Final Client PresentationPhi Sigma Pi National Honors Fraternity Information Design Timothy Larach

Overview • My project will be focused on improving the recruitment process for Phi Sigma Pi National Honors Fraternity. • Since we are a professional fraternity, we do not naturally get as much rush ‘traffic’ as many of the other social fraternities. In this regard, we need to find a way to advertise ourselves to the students who are not so inclined in the social fraternity world.

  3. Deliverables • Brochure • Recruitment flyer • Business card for recruitment adviser.

  4. Brochure • This brochure will be produced in Microsoft Word as just a simple informational item for our fraternity. • We do not have anything of the sort as of now, so this product will be directly useful when sending out information to prospective members. • I will probably use a color scheme similar to that of our fraternal colors to make it aesthetically relevant. • The information will be on the background of our fraternity, our missions/goals, and how we foster learning.

  5. Business Card • This artifact is very, very simple… but very, very important. • Business card with the contact information of our recruitment advisor who is in charge of getting students to rush our fraternity. • Having a business card for him/her to hand out at all times will make some aspects of recruiting that much easier.

  6. Flyer • A very important aspect to recruiting. • We have a variety of flyers and informational posters already produced, but I wanted to produce a new one maybe more conducive to a freshman/ broader audience.

  7. Usability • This business card and brochure serve direct and specific purposes so I can not forsee too many usability issues with them. The way I format information on the brochure could potentially be a problem though. • The flyer needs to attract peoples attention; primarily the attention of the specific people we are targeting. I need to come up with key words that will attract this sort of audience. Hopefully that will prove to be an essential factor in increasing viewership of the flyer.
