The Recruitment Process • We recruit candidates for you from a wide range of sources: Connexions, Schools and Colleges, Advertising, Youth Clubs, recommendation & existing employees • Our selection is thorough - based on the school NRA, an interview, assessment tests and commitment • You choose who to interview and select

Supported Recruitment for your Business • All Candidates are invited to a Presentation • National Record of Achievement (NRA) & References taken up • Individual Interviews and basic Literacy and Numeracy tests taken by all Candidates • Mentoring to ensure that there are no hidden problems • Candidates selected that best match your job requirements • You interview and choose the person you want • Pre-start Health & Safety/Equal Opportunities Audit undertaken

Supported Training • Job description is used as the basis of the qualification • Weekly College for your Learner • Mentoring Service available on site • Regular, frequent on-site visits from your assessor • E-assessment to help speed progress • Course Framework includes Key Skills as well as the Technical Certificate & NVQ • Fast track possible for particularly able learners

  7. Employer’s Responsibilities • Provide a varied job description to give a wide range of experience • Train and support the learner in their role • Participate in review meetings and in agreeing assessment plans • Review and validate learner’s work
