  3. GUIDE DRILL Round Drill vs. Point Drill • Round Drill • Risk of slipping may lead to: • Less precise positioning • Damaging bone tissue • BIOTEM Guide Drill • No slipping • Precise Positioning Recommended rotational speed1200 rpm

  4. PILOT DRILLS Marker signals depth reached Groove disperses cooling liquid Recommended rotational speed 700-800 rpm

  5. TWIST DRILLS Marker signals depth reached Groove disperses cooling liquid Recommended rotational speed 700-800 rpm

  6. CORTICAL DRILLS Groove Line sets the limit of drilling Recommended rotational speed 700-800 rpm

  7. DRILL EXTENSION Common connective groove designs create a risk for bending Robust connective capsule design with easy assembly / disassembly

  8. PARALLEL PIN Insert this side into Ø2.0mm osteotomy (after using the straight drill) Insert this side into the implant screw hole

  9. HAND DRIVERS Hex Driver (for torque wrench) Hex Driver (Manual)

  10. FIXTURE DRIVERS Torque Wrench Contra-Angle

  11. Joining the driver with the implant – Simple and Safe 1. Insert driver into the appropriate connective space while applying pressure to the top of the implant holder. 2. Apply pressure at the bottom of the holder in order to release the implant-driver assembly.

  15. GUIDE DRILL Round Drill vs. Point Drill • Round Drill • Risk of slipping may lead to: • Less precise positioning • Damaging bone tissue • BIOTEM Guide Drill • No slipping • Precise Positioning Recommended rotational speed1200 rpm

  16. STRAIGHT DRILLS Ø 2.0mm Irrigation groove for easy penetration of cooling media Stopper for increased drilling precision (prevents over-drilling) Straight drill design Recommended rotational speed 1200 rpm Harvest bone at low rotational speed (30-50 rpm)

  17. TAPERED DRILLS (1/2) Irrigation groove for easy penetration of cooling media Stopper for increased drilling precision (prevents over-drilling) Taper angle of 15° Recommended rotational speed 1200 rpm Harvest bone at low rotational speed (30-50 rpm)

  18. TAPERED DRILLS (2/2) Ø 3.0mm Ø 3.3mm Ø 3.6mm Ø 3.8mm Ø 4.2mm

  19. MARKING DRILLS Irrigation groove for easy penetration of cooling media Stopper for increased drilling precision (prevents over-drilling) Lateral microgrooves enhance cooling media dispersion Recommended rotational speed 700-800 rpm Harvest bone at low rotational speed (30-50 rpm)

  20. CORTICAL DRILLS Marker signals Limit of groove line Groove Line sets the limit of drilling Recommended rotational speed 700-800 rpm

  21. DRILL EXTENSION Common connective groove designs create a risk for bending Robust connective capsule design with easy assembly / disassembly

  22. PARALLEL PIN Insert this side into Ø2.0mm osteotomy (after using the straight drill) Insert this side into the implant screw hole

  23. HAND DRIVERS Hex Driver (for torque wrench) Hex Driver (Manual)

  24. FIXTURE DRIVERS Torque Wrench Contra-Angle

  25. Joining the Driver with the Implant Fixture Ergonomic mount design allows for a simple assembly with the driver as well as a safe manipulation. 1. Apply pressure on the top part of the fixture mount then insert driver into the appropriate connective space 2. Apply pressure on the bottom part of the fixture mount in order to release the implant-driver assembly.
