  5. Supervision • Prof. Fan Hong and Mr. YongbinXia • 5 Chinese teachers from UCC CI • 4 Irish teachers from 3 schools (St. Mary High School, St. Brendon’s College, Regina Mundi College) • 2 SHU staff members in Shanghai • 4 UCC students who are studying in SHU

  6. Visa Application • By 4pm 27 February: submit all required documents with passports to Mr Xia, Office 3.35 ORB UCC • 28 February: visa application in Dublin – UCC CI • 11 March: collect passports and visas from Mr Xia at 3.35 ORB UCC

  7. Visa Application:Required Documents Passport Visa form, 1 passport size photo pasted on form 60 euro in cash Approval letter from the school with signature of principal or co-ordinator

  10. Leave for ShanghaiDeparture Information • All students and supervisors should arrive at Cork airport before 3.30pm 2 April 2013 • Flight information: 2 April, KL 3172 Depart Cork 5pm; Arrive AMS 8pm • Depart AMS 9:30pm, KL 893; Arrive Shanghai 2:30pm+1 day

  11. Arrival in Shanghai • At the Shanghai Pudong International Airport 2.30pm 3 April 2013 • 2 staff members from Shanghai University will meet the group at the Airport • Coach to Yanchang Campus, SHU

  12. Living in Shanghai • Food and accommodation on campus • Internal transportation • Tourism • Books and handouts Above costs will be covered by UCC CI/Hanban/SHU

  13. Food price example 2013 EURO 1= RMB 8.3 • RMB 6-9 for cafeteria meals • RMB 4 for small milk carton • RMB 5 for Chinese breakfast of fried egg & dough • RMB 4 for Coke • RMB 25-60 for nice and fancy restaurants • RMB 30-50 for McDonalds or KFC meal
