  4. Every student needs to test, but not every student tests in the same way.

  5. Title I Assessments • MCA • Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments • MCA-Modified • Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments-Modified • MTAS • Minnesota Test of Academic Skills

  6. New-to-Country Students • New-to-country English learners may, but are not required to, take a Title I reading assessment • Reading is the only Title I subject where new-to-country English learners are not required to take the assessment

  8. Reading MCA Administration Details (Grades 3–8 and 10) • Districts choose administration mode by school • Indicate administration mode during Pretest Editing
