  2. Lyriocephaulus lizard Otherwise known as the Lyre head lizard In 1994 the population began to decrease It was officially deemed endangered in 2009, and is now on the “red list”

  3. Location.. This exotic lizard is native to Ski Lanka. Its habitat consists of the closed canopy in the sub-montan rainforest It has also been known to appear in abandoned tea plantations as well as forest gardens

  4. How it became threatened The main causes of this creatures endangerment are do to: Deforestation Human activity Plantations Mining Illegal logging Expanding human settlements

  5. Save the lyre head lizard? • You think with this lizard being endangered they would have some kind of plan to help save it right? Wrong. There's currently no plan of action to help increase the population or keep this creature from going extinct . • However they do try to keep a majority of these lizards in Natural Heritage wilderness areas. Which is about 65-70km^2 of land. • Illegal mining and logging are still a threat
