  3. My research question What are good habits that the P5 GEP pupils can pick up in order to have good and sufficient rest?

  4. Literature Review Sleep is essential for a person’s health and wellbeing According to the National Sleep Foundation (NSF), 69 percent of children around the world do not have enough rest for more than two days a week If one does not have enough sleep, one would not be able to concentrate well in class.

  5. Literature Review (continue…) According to the web, as 10 – 11 year olds, we should be having at least 10 to 12 hours of sleep. At these ages, with social, school, and family activities, bedtimes gradually become later and later. It has been proven that sleeping makes you a happier person, and allows you to live longer.

  6. Literature Review (continue…) Solutions of other similar researches How to sleep well? Keep a regular sleep schedule Get regular exercises Learn ways to get back to sleep Do not be over-stressed and worried

  7. Why? This study might help the P5 GEP pupils of 2013 to de-stress. If they have sufficient rest/sleep, their health would also naturally improve. Some of my friends come to school looking tired and sleepy, and have panda eyes. If I am able to find different habits for those pupils who need more rest to pick up, I’m sure they will be able to lead a happier and healthier life!

  8. Objective The objective of this research is to gather the good habits of the P5 GEP pupils by assessing their response in the survey that I will be handing out After finding out the good habits, I will then be able to sharing my findings with them.

  9. Method used to collect data I will be using SURVEY. I will be dividing my survey into two sections. Section (a) for those who rated their quality of sleep above 7 and do not feel tired more than 4 or more days a week. Section (b) for those who rated their quality of sleep 6 and below, and feel tired for more than 4 or more days a week.
