Sessions • Breaking the Core Programme Barrier: UCD • Large, multi-disciplinary courses offered for first time • Duplication of info skills training • Variable academic engagement with library • Arts and Sciences information literacy offer development • ‘module’ for L4’s piloted • Easing the Transition: Threshold Concepts & IL Workshops for Visiting Y13 students: LMU • Previously threw ‘everything’ at L4 on arrival at course! • Implemented simplified info lit sessions as part of Y13 University experience

Future-proofing… • ‘Programme approach’ – • could this work for us? • Large, multi-disciplinary courses offered at MMU • Programmes remain, academics change • Y13 visits – • investigate library impact and possible roll-out of simple info lit training • Widening participation days • Gentle intro to working at Uni • Build on work at L4
