  4. Remaining in good standing • CPD schemes are already introducing good standing within accreditation • Links to Appraisal • Points based CPD

  5. Case studies • As institutions present remaining in good standing within accredited schemes, case studies will be developed to showcase to the sector • Bedford • ANU • Series of FAQs are being developed

  6. Sector engagement is critical • Feedback from the sector • How remaining in good standing could be used • Need to work with groups: • SHED • HEDG • SEDA • SDF • HR Networks

  7. Dual Badging • Need to work with Professional bodies • HEA activities recognised as CPD • Points v hours

  8. What next? • HEA staff remaining in good standing • HEA accreditor remaining in good standing • How will institutions approach remaining in good standing? • HR process? • Central Development Unit? • Local at Faculty level? • What impact will this have on HESA return and the QAA?

  9. Code of Practice/ Remaining in good standing: Questions for the sector 1. Why do we need the Code of Practice? 2. Is this duplicating the UK PSF? 3. How do we/ can we use the Code of Practice? 4. What if a staff member does not remain in good standing? 5. Can the HEA revoke recognition?
