  6. Da ricordare...(To remember) When writing the date in Italian, the number comes BEFORE the month. The word “il” comes before the number EXCEPT FOR – “otto” and “undici” then “ l’ ” is used: l’otto febbraio l’undici luglio

  9. Da ricordare... In Italian, days of the week and months are NOT capitalized unless they are at the beginning of a sentence. The calendar week begins with lunedì. All weekdays end in ì. The “i” has an accent over it rather than a regular dot. Please be sure to write it correctly!
