School Improvement Plans • New 2 Year Review Cycle • 2008-2009 SI Plan Review for: • New to Year I Improvement Status • Marked “Needs Revision” in the 2007-2008 Review • Year 1 Improvement Status and Beyond that did NOT submit for the 2007-2008 Review • Plans Due November 1, 2008 to the LEA for Review • Plans Due to the State December 15, 2008 for Review • Plans Entered into the CIP Tool • SI Plan Writing Workbook Available • No SI Grant Money Available

Idaho Building Capacity (IBC) Project • Title I Schools and Districts Only • Idaho’s Statewide System of Support • Participants Provided With: • Capacity Builder (CB) Services (up to 8 hours a week during Year 1) • Professional Development • Resources & Self Evaluation Tools • Schools and Districts Apply Together • Applications Due October 31, 2008 • Schools/Districts to be served in Cohort II will be selected and matched with CB by early December 2008 • Services begin in January 2009

Additional School Improvement Technical Assistance • Regional School Improvement Workshops • CIP Tool Support Webinars • Monthly School Improvement Webinars: • Aligned with the 9 Characteristics of High Performing Schools • Delivered through ID Live Technology • Available to ALL • No Cost • More Information to Come • Title I Conference School Improvement Strand
