  3. Beyond Power points: Learn how to use Free cloud applications—Prezi and GoAnimate.com • Students are tired of Power Points. Learn how to create a Prezi and Go Animate project.

  4. Prezi notes • Prezi is an on-line presentation program • No software needed, “cloud” application • Only need internet connection • Free, but can cost if you want more storage • Share with others via email, fb, twitter, blogs, websites (need URL) • Can insert YouTube clips • Can work/edit a project with others in “real time” with a group of people

  5. Terms • Canvas • Frame • Path • Zoom Out—use wheel on mouse or - • Zoom In—use wheel on mouse or + • Hand (move across screen)

  6. Insert options • Video (FLV, AVI, MOV, WMV, MPG,MP4) • PDF • YouTube • Pictures, images, drawings • Power Point • Sound (new as of Spring 2013)

  7. Reminders • Saves automatically or you can save as well • Can insert PDF file with links, words, pictures • Need to check spelling (red lines will show if you do not correct it) • Prezi is constantly updating and sending emails. If you do not know, watch the videos! • Cool way to show your next presentation.

  9. Go Animate Free on-line videos (5 minutes or less) Go to GoAnimate.com to create a free account Pick a template (scene) Input text, change characters, add sound, effects, props, etc. Share via email, FB, Tumblr, Twitter

  10. Session EvaluationParticipants are asked to complete a session evaluation for each session attended. Credit (attendance, renewal, and/or technology) will be added following evaluation completion. For each question, use 1=Strongly Disagree, 2=Disagree, 3=Neither Agree nor Disagree, 4=Agree, 5=Strongly Agree.
