BJP Program Modifications • 2008 – Identified challenges with Program’s Revenue • Economy “Slow-Down” adversely impacted the ½ cent sales tax revenue • Bonding Ability impacted by the revenue reduction • Would result in higher barrowing interest rates…more expensive program • Ordinance 2009-446-E • Provided additional bonding support to limit City’s future debt • Reduced available funding for Project Budgets • Allowed adequate Funding to complete active Construction Projects • Allowed adequate Funding to meet Real Estate Acquisition Legal obligations (condemnation) • Allowed adequate Funding to complete assigned Design tasks
