Benefits Annual EnrollmentOctober 1-26, 2012 • This annual enrollment includes: • NCFlex Plans: dental, vision, accidental death, critical illness, cancer, NCFlex group term life, flexible spending accounts • NC State-Sponsored Plans: MetLife group term life, Hyatt Legal, Liberty Mutual long term disability • The State Health Plan annual enrollment is in March of each year with a July 1 effective date

  2. Benefits Annual EnrollmentOctober 1-26, 2012 • New for 2013 • The annual contribution limit for the Health Care Flexible Spending is $2,500. Re-enrollment is required each year. • NCFlex Group Term Life allows participants to increase coverage $10,000 up to $100,000 with no evidence of insurability. • A Roth 457 post-tax plan is being added to the voluntary retirement plans that employees can participate in(effective 10/1/12) • Current MetLife Group Term Life participants may increase coverage by $10,000, $20,000, or $30,000 without a Statement of Health provided that the total amount does not exceed $500,000.
