Sin No More… LYING • Definition of Lying: • an inaccurate or false statement; intentional untruth; a falsehood • to speak falsely or utter untruth knowingly, as with intent to deceive or mislead • something intended to convey a false impression; imposture • to express what is false; convey a false impression or practice deception

  23. Conclusion • Lying is sin & we must treat it that way. • Lying is of the devil. • Lying is serious. • Lying separates us from God, from God’s blessings, and from God’s promises. • Lying will keep us out of heaven. • We are to speak the truth and let our “Yes be Yes” and our “No be No”.
