  1. Nepal Hello !!! My name is Sumitra. I am from Jhapa, Nepal.

  2. nNepal • Nepal is home to a variety of religious and ethnic groups and climates.

  3. Food of Nepal foodsFFF • Dal, Bhat ,Tarkari (Sabji) and achar is a set of food items that we eat regular (daily)for lunch and for dinner, sometimes even in the morning as breakfast. • Momo,Samosa, Roti, and Khir are the most famous foods.

  4. Momo Recipe First thing you need to do is to make a dough. Ingredients for dough; all purpose flour, vegetable Oil, water and one pinch salt(little) Momo’s putting ingredients; Cabbage,( you can also add meat if you want to but you don't need it to make it) Red onion, Garlic, Ginger, Turmeric powder, Oil and Salt. • To prepare - 15 minute and to cook 45 minute

  5. You need tomato achar(Pickle) to dip and eat. • To serve arrange the momos on a plate neatly with tomato achar. o

  6. Fdriuts Fruits of Nepal Lychee is one of my favorite fruits. • Lychee has a "delicate, whitish pulp" with a floral smell and a sweet flavor. This fruit is popular in China and throughout Southeast Asia.

  7. hoil Holidays in Nepal Dashainis the longest and the most important festival of Nepal. Generally, Dashain falls in late September to mid-October. Tihar is another important festival in Nepal. Tihar is also known as Deepawali, it is a five-day-long Hindu and Buddhist festival celebrated in Nepal, which comes soon after Dashain.

Nepalese are hospitable. • Whenever someone comes to visit a Nepali house, they will always serve you hot tea, that is part of our culture. In our culture, arranged marriages are common. We eat most of our food with our hands. • calling people by names like: mom(amaa), dad(baba), uncle, aunt are common. Never call older person by their names; it is considered unrespectful.

  10. Religion In Nepal mostly are Hinduor they practice Buddhism. Other Religions in Nepal: Islam - 3.2% Kirant- 3.6% Christianity is practiced officially by less than 0.5%.

  12. Men Clothes • Daura suruwal with dhaka dopi is the national costume of Nepal worn by males.

  13. Women Clothes The Nepali dress for women is a cotton sari (Guniu), a cloth garment worn with a blouse. Saree, and most Nepalese women also wear the indian salwar kameez, which we say kurta.

  15. Climate & weather Nepal’s climate is influenced by maritime and continental factors. Nepal has four seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Only in the mountains is there snow. In other parts, there is only fog.

Flag of Nepal religion Nepal flag is unique. • World’s only flag of this shape • The two triangles symbolize the Himalaya Mountains and could also represent the two major religions: Hinduism and Buddhism. • The moon symbolizes that the Nepalese are soothing and calm, while the sun symbolizes fierce resolve. • Blue- represents the cold Himalayan mountains. • Red - blood of Nepalese, which is known as Gorkhali. It is also the color of the rhododendron, Nepal's official flower.

  19. Sports • My favorite sport is soccer, which we call football in Nepal. • football is Nepal’s national sport. When I was 8 years old, I started playing this sport with my cousins and with my friends in the forests.

  20. climate Goals in America My goals in America is to graduate from high school by getting diploma. After that I like to take at least 2 years technical course. After that I like to find job that goes along with that course and work. So that I can support my parents. I want to go Florida, California and Mexico one day.
