  4. PURPOSE This 2-hour webinar highlights Beaver County’s Truancy Intervention Program from the perspective of county agencies and school districts. Presenters will offer an overview of Beaver County’s Truancy Elimination Program as it exists currently, as well as the history of the program and how it has evolved.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Participants will be able to: Describe the components of Beaver County’s Truancy Intervention Program; Identify approaches found to be successful during the development of Beaver County’s Truancy Intervention Program; and Identify some of the challenges and barriers to the creation of a successful truancy intervention program.
