What is water exactly?

What is water exactly?. Chemistry teachers say: The water is H 2 O. Boatmen say: …”Water is the way between two continents.”…. Both of them are true. But in my opinion: …” Water is one of the most important elements in the world.”…. Because we cannot live without water.

  1. What is water exactly?

  2. Chemistry teachers say: The water is H2O

  3. Boatmen say: …”Water is the way between two continents.”…

  4. Both of them are true. But in my opinion: …”Water is one of the most important elements in the world.”…

  5. Because we cannot live without water.

  6. Unfortunately because of the change of the climate the habitat of the water-fowls isn’t the same as it was.

  7. The habitat of birds nowdays.

  8. The habitat of birds in the end of XXI. century.

  9. nowdaysin the end of XXI. century We can see the difference between theese pictures. Habitat of birds will change seriously. It will move about 550 km to north-eastward and it will become smaller.

  10. And the most terrible thing is that it is the mankind who caused it.

  11. But how? There are countless answers to this questions. (unfortunately)

  12. 1.: We always travel by car. Cars run on petrol and it is very harmful to the environment. It is a big problem. If we used solar powered cars this problem would disappear.

  13. 2.: Most factories work without filters. As a result harmful gases are released into the air.

  14. Factory

  15. Because of these facts and many other causes the ozone layer is getting thinner and thinner and the greenhouse effect is getting more and more serious. All these cause the change of the climate.

  16. Also in Hungary we can realise some very strange events. We can find some bird species which come from other continents.

  17. They are the following.: 1.: Amerikai pettyeslile. (Pluvialis dominica) The American Golden-Plover It is a small bird with a short strong beak and short legs. It is about twenty-five cm tall. It looks for its feed in the mud of lakes. It comes from North-America.

  18. American Golden-Plover Amerikai pettyeslile (Pluvialis dominika) Juv.

  19. American Golden-Plover Amerikai pettyeslile (Pluvialis dominika) ♂

  20. American Golden-Plover’s eggs Amerikai pettyeslile tojásai (Pluvialis dominika)

  21. 2.: Énekes hattyú (Cygnus cygnus) Whooper swan It is a big white bird with a long neck and short legs. It is about one hundred and fifty cm tall. It has a short yellow beak. It ”sings” like a horn. First it was in 2005 when a couple of this bird species could breed in Hungary. It comes from Asia.

  23. Whooper swan Énekes hattyú (Cygnus cygnus)

  24. Whooper swan Énekes hattyú (Cygnus cygnus)

  25. 3.: Wilson-víztaposó (Phalaropus tricolor) Wilson’ s Phalarope It is about twenty-three cm tall. It has longer legs and a longer and sharper beak than the American Golden-Plover. It eats insects. Until it looking for them it bend down. It can swim.

  26. Wilson’ s Phalarope Wilson-Víztaposó (Phalaropus tricolor)

  27. Wilson’ s Phalarope Wilson-Víztaposó (Phalaropus tricolor)

  28. Wilson’ s Phalarope Wilson-Víztaposó (Phalaropus tricolor)

  29. All these birds are rare in Hungary. The American Golden-Plover and the Wilson’ s Phalarope are migratory birds in Hungary. Sometimes it can be very nice for us when we get a sight of them. On the other hand it isn’t normal. They shouldn’t be here. What is more for these birds it is dangerous to ”travel” so much.

  30. We can protect them if we protect the world. Let’s do it!

  31. Thank you for your kind attention! Falaki Máté
