  5.  Your task • Work in groups of 5. One of you in the group will be Queen Elizabeth, the others will be one of her suitors either: • Christopher Hatton • Philip II • The Duke of Alencon • Robert Dudley. • Each suitor will have 2 minutes to make their case and then the Queen will decide who should win her hand in marriage.

  7.  Your task • Either: • Write a letter to one of your disappointed candidates explaining why you can’t marry him • Write a letter as one of the suitors explaining why you think the Queen should marry you

  9. Read ‘Changing Minds’, p. 57 and create a Word table similar to the one below. Finally, underneath write down what you think she should do.  Your task
