Session 1: after pages 1-16- Please write complete sentences in your composition notebooks.

Do Max and his brother seem realistic to you? Why or why not?

Based on his actions so far, what conclusions can you draw about Max?

How would you describe Aunt Fran? What kind of person would you say she is?

What causes Adam to go ant-crazy? What happens when Adam has to wait for the ants to arrive?

Why does Max tell Adam that people eat chocolate covered ants? Why does Adam refuse to believe Max?

In the next part of the book, Adam’s ants arrive. Predict how this arrival is going to affect the characters. Write in your prediction in your composition notebook.
