  1. Scenario 1

  2. Problem Mary is unable to understand the mother who only speak Tamil.

  3. Communicating skills Even though Mary and the mother did not talk , Mary was still able to figure out that the mother was unease through her facial expressions. (communication is not all about talking verbally or in written form)

  4. Interpersonal and Collaborative Skills Since Mary was not able to understand the mother directly and did not know how to help her, a Registered nurse was their to help Mary. In this situation, Mary was able to adjust to a new partnership with the RN to help the girl/daughter and to understand the mother.

  5. Social Responsibility • Mary is the Chief Reception Manager of City Hospital. She is doing her responsibility in assisting patients to their respective rooms or facilitating them with what they need.

  6. Mary is responsible enough to handle such things especially in a crucial time. Because she is the Chief reception manager, she has information about things that are often asked in the hospital. She has a lot of access to different personnel in the hospital. She already adapted to varied roles and responsibilities. She works well with others. She acts responsibly and help others to calm down when they are worried.

  7. Accountability and Adaptability She is flexible in the sudden change of her work from being CRM to assist or facilitate patients.

  8. Information and Media Literary Skills • Being the CRM, Mary knows many things about the hospital, not only in assisting the patients. She's also in-charge of the records of the hospital or of the patients.
