  6. The Hittites were ruled by a king who’s heir was the first born son in most cases. Shuppiluliuma Was considered the greatest king

  7. While ruled by the king the Hittites still had other important roles at the top one of which is the Gal Mesedi the chief of the royal bodyguards. This role however was supressed by the role of Gal Gestin chief of the wine stewards who was often a relative to the king. • The country's bureaucracy was headed by the Gal Dubsar chief of the scribes whos power only stood over the Lugal Dubstar, the personal scribe of the king.

  11. Pharaoh, We believe that we should create an alliance with the Hittites, because their military is very strong and overpowering, and we believe that this alliance will keep us strong. Also, we believe that creating an alliance with the Hittites will cause less casualties for our people, and cause less damage to join. conflicts and come together as Although we have had our differences, we believe it will be in our best interest, to settle our reoccurring one.
