  4. Academic Expectations • Understand 3 phases to this class. • Each is very different. • You are here to LEARN. • I want everyone’s best effort. • No homework if you work in class. • Deadlines will be set. You need to met them.

Classroom Expectations • NO FOOD, DRINKS OR CANDY! • Please ask your neighbor if they know how to do something first before asking me. • Raise your hand. • Follow directions. • Be respectful! • Don’t be tardy! Tardiness without pass will result in me using one in your Hawkbook! • Come to class using the 8thgrade stairway. • Use the 8thgrade restroom.

  6. Consequences of Behavior • 1st offense- Removed from Computer • 2nd offense- Call Home/Detention • 3rd offense- Referral

  7. Materials Needed for Class • HAWKBOOK • PEN OR PENCIL • PAPER

  8. Computer Care • Start up and shut down only when asked to do so. 8th period-down • Only open software we are using. • Don’t touch the monitors! • Keep station organized. • Immediately report anything missing or broken.

  9. Daily Routine • Check to make sure everything is at station. • Login. • Read board for daily activities or reminders. • Please face center of room during instructions. • DO YOUR BEST!

  10. Daily Routine • Clean up station by straightening keyboard, mouse and mouse pad. • Push chair in under work station. • Check to make sure you did everything before you leave! Review
