  3. All About Me: Experience • I went to school at West Virginia University at Parkersburg and Marshall University. • Taught elementary school for 7 years. • Taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.

  4. All About Me: Family and Hobbies • Family • I married my high school sweetheart. • We have three beautiful children. • Hobbies • Skiing the wintertime. • Spending time with my family. • Shopping for my classroom.

  8. My Classroom: Supplies Needed for Class • Three ring binder with folders • Pencil with eraser • Loose leaf paper • Yourself 

  9. My Classroom: Where to Find Everything Each student has his/her own desk. Classroom Library  By Exterior Door Bathroom Passes  By Front Door Calculators  Calculator Caddy Rulers, markers, dry erase boards, and anything else is on the back shelf.

  10. My Classroom: Rules • Do not speak when I am speaking. • Come to class on time. • Always come prepared. • Keep your hands to yourself. • Follow directions. • Ask me for help when you need it.

  11. My Classroom: Consequences • I have a “Three Strike Policy.” I will always give a warning, first. • Strike 1: No Recess • Strike 2: Principal’s Office • Strike 3: Parent/Teacher Conference

  12. My Classroom: Homework Policy • Homework must be completed on time. • Late homework will not be accepted. • Weekly times tables practice. • Various science assignments weekly.

  14. Fire Escape In Case of a Fire Outside Hallway Go out the exit in the front left of the room. Head straight out the door and go toward the football field.
