Initial Key-Issues • Align research with national needs and restructure research system • Support R&D at local, regional and global level with more funds • Better linkage with development programs, especially for NRM • Identify new research policies and improve awareness of decision maker of importance of agricultural research and innovation

  4. Initial Key-Issues • Develop an impact-oriented research, knowledge and development system • Improve agricultural education and career prospects of agricultural scientists • Human capacity development

Modified Key-Issues • Align research with national agricultural developmental needs and restructure research system • Support R&D at local, regional and global level with more funds • Enhance awareness of decision makers for the importance of agricultural research and innovation for national development • Develop a scheme of Impact Assessment Research System

  6. Modified Key-Issues • Improve agricultural education system to meet agricultural development strategy, including on-job training programs • Develop an incentive system for NARS to be attractive and creative centers • Promote a network of specialized regional centers of excellence
