1.Difference between IPGW16 and VIPGW16

(1) Programming

IPGW16 : from PC with WEB.

VIPGW16 : PCMC

(2) Supported CODEC

IPGW16 : G711, G723, G729A

VIPGW16 : G711 , G729A

(3) IP-GW settings

IPGW16 : One setting every IPGW16 card

VIPGW16 : The following settings are programmed by each IPGW destination

- GW Group No. - IPGW type (TDA/TDE) - Priority CODEC

- Progress tone send mode - Packet Sampling Time

- Connectionless procedure protocol (TCP/UDP) for Centralized BLF

(4) Call Distribution Port Group

IP-GW Mode Setting

IP-GW16 checks the other party type.

If the other party is IP-GW16,

please set “Enable (TDA)”.

If the other party is not IP-GW16,

please set “Disable (TDE)”.
