VoIP DSP capacities are calculated by a combination of the available DSP processing power, the available communication paths through from IP interface to traditional telephony interface (Limited to 49 paths on both TDE100 and TDE200 - If SVM is disabled then limited to 53) and the available paths through any interconnecting IP trunks (Max 32 IP trunk Paths) 2. There are three compression codecs available - G711, G729 and G722 (P2P only – No DSP resource is used!) 3. G729 has the lowest network utilisation but it also has the highest processor utilisation (DSP) Voice Codec Converter DSP G.711 G.729

Limitation of BGM & Paging (1/2) BGM Through system programming, it is possible to specify the maximum number of IP-PT extensions connected to a V-IP EXT card that can simultaneously perform the BGM feature. Changing this setting may affect the number of simultaneous extension calls available on the V-IP EXT Card (System default number of BGM recipients is 4).

  13. 2. Limitation of BGM & Paging (2/2) Paging Through system programming, you can enable the paging feature for an IP-PT connected to a V-IP EXT card. This setting is disabled by default and so an IP-PT connected to a V-IP EXT card can not receive Paging until it is enabled. - System default value of IP-PT Paging enabled EXT is 0 - The maximum number of paging enabled IP-PT EXT is 49 - By default, all V-IP PT EXTs are added to user group31, DPT/IPExt16 EXTs are user group1 DPT/IP-EXT V-IP EXT
