I’m like a day without sunshine, a balloon without helium, a burger without fries. Grace : (to the audience) Jessica can be very dramatic, if you know what I mean. Leah: Well, Jessica, it can be a very serious thing if you did lose music. But are you sure that it’s gone completely? Sara: Yes! Yes! Completely! I heard you got some questions about form. Brielee: That’s right, Rondo. Jessica here is trying to get his music back. He has already learned about melody, rhythm, harmony and tone. Logan: Now we’re just hoping that you could shed some light on the musical element “form” for us. Reagan S.: Yo! You have come to the right place, sister! Rondo is my name and form is my game. Get the picture? All: Yes! We get it! Reagan S.: Then get a beat goin’ dude, and let Rondo and the ABCs explain the world of form to you! Tuesday, December 2nd @ 2:30 p.m. & 6:30 p.m. www.bthompsongs.wordpress.com

  24. Start with Strophic, you can call it A, It’s so simple, like a child at play, Like “Down in the Valley” or “Amazing Grace,” Music time cannot erase. When you add another A, the words might change but the music is the same. Now you’ve got another verse, makes it easy to rehearse. 25. Now do something different with a change of harmony, you’ve got a new section, you can call it B. Emmitt: But what are you going to say? Sara: Oh, you’re right. I think I need some words. Riley:Not necessarily. Although lots of music has words, you can make wonderful music without any words at all. Ayden: But you should think about what you want to say with your music, even if you say it without any words. Sara: Huh? Mariah: You say “huh” a lot, don’t you? Quinten: Making music with your voice, an instrument, or even your body is more than just mastering the elements we’ve talked about so far.
